Sean Taylor

Client partner Sean Taylor might have become a diplomat working for the State Department in far-flung foreign capitals—but instead he puts his diplomatic skills to work every day as Alliancesphere's chief client relations expert, the consummate connector who maintains relationships between Alliancesphere and its clients, partners, and customers. He's the guy who knows the ins and outs of clients' businesses, and puts that knowledge to good use in keeping all the players on the same page.

After graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in government and foreign affairs, Sean embarked on an 18-year career that embraced business development, sales, alliance management, account management, and marketing. Throughout his career, his responsibilities have included working with executives and senior management to identify and pursue strategic and tactical opportunities to achieve revenue objectives and manage strategic partner relationships.

Among the highlights of Sean's time with Alliancesphere is his work for more than eight years as the company's Hewlett-Packard Client Partner, with a key focus on the HP-Microsoft Frontline Partnership

Sean got his first taste of working with the other Alliancesphere principals as a founding member of the alliance team at iXL, which was recognized as "Best in Class" by Gartner in 1999. While at iXL he served as enterprise alliance partner, managing relationships with partners including Compaq, Interwoven, BroadVision, and a host of other application server, content management, and e-commerce ISVs.

Prior to joining Alliancesphere, Sean managed the Atlanta office of Schematic, a Los Angeles–based industry-leading agency in interface design, interactive production, and software development. Before Schematic, Sean spent three years as director of alliances at AgentWare, an e-business enabling software and services company focused on delivering Web-based data aggregation services for the travel and hospitality industries.
